YOU CAN BE SURE OF YOUR SALVATION
God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! But until we reconcile ourselves with God, we live unforgiven and are set on a path towards eternity in hell. God wants to change that because of His unconditional love for you. He has made the way to life now and everlasting heaven through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is not something we can earn on our own or pay our own way; it is only through Jesus that we can come to God the Father. It is a wonderfully free gift. We only have to believe in what Jesus has done for us (His life, death and resurrection), repent of our sins, and invite Him into our lives.
If you have never asked God to forgive you your sins and invited Jesus Christ to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior, you can do this today, right now, wherever you are. You can have this be your day of Salvation and your name written in God’s Book of Life. God will seal you with His Holy Spirit, who will come into your life. He will lead you, guide you, and gift you, being your constant Source of Help.
Pray a simple prayer like,
“Lord Jesus, I have sinned against You and followed my own path. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I am sorry for all my sins. I ask You to forgive me and come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving my sins and making me Your child. Help me to live for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.”
After you make this decision to follow God, get involved in a Bible-believing church, and spend regular time learning more about God and His plans for you by reading the Bible, praying to Him, and fellowshipping with other believers. Jesus wants you to be a disciple (one who follows and loves Christ), not just a convert.
